My mother in law was an example of one who lived as a widow content in the hands of the Lord until her her last breath, outspoken, serving, sacrificing and holding on to her values as she pushed forward in the reality of her mortal limits.

Mein Blick faellt gerade auf eine Kapitelueberschrift im "Camel Book": "Social Engineering. This chapter presents how Perl tries to cooperate with everything and everyone in the whole wide world, up to a point."
Perl programmers are apparently eclectic; the language must have rubbed off on them (PERL = Practical Extraction and Reporting Language oder, mit einem Zwinkern, Pathologically Eclectic Rubbish Lister).

It is funny that the name is in English, the caption "one world, one future" is in English, but everything else is in German. I don't see anywhere to switch to English (or any other language), at least on the home page.

Hmmm... das schein ein ähnliches Phänomen zu sein, wie die Neigung vieler DDR-Eltern, ihren Kindern internatinal klingende Namen zu geben - als kleines "Ätsch" an die Regierung und im Kontext zu der schmerzlich vermissten Reisefreiheit. Mit dem Fall der Mauer hat diese Neigung übrigens stark nachgelassen. Fazit: NAK ist eben nicht gleich NAKI.
Die Zurückhaltung deutschsprachiger Schreiber, mal ins englische zu wechseln, mag auch damit zusammenhängen, dass Mutige gern von Allesbesserwissern wegen kleinerer Holprigkeiten abgekanzelt werden. Mancher schweigt dann künftig lieber.

Den Versuch ist es ja wert. Und es besteht ja kein Problem, so lange die anderen Nationen "God's mother tongue" lernen.
