New Apostolic Church USA
November 14, 2008
Dear District Leaders,
We would like to share with you some news regarding our national website, www.newapostolicchurch.org. For some time it has been the wish of our District Apostle and the Apostles to create a new website, and over the next few months we are working to accomplish this.
The new website will have a different look and feel from our current one. There will still be congregational web pages, but for the initial launch there will be no channel for the local congregations to post their own individual pictures or events; however, this feature will be available in a later release. We are instead asking each District Leader to submit three or four reports per month (with pictures if applicable) on events that recently took place or with upcoming events. Information on how to submit these reports will be listed below.
The new website will have announcements and news links that pertain to:
The USA District as a whole
Children
Youth
Seniors
These announcements may be applicable to regions, and would therefore appear on several pages including congregational pages from those regions (i.e. North East, Mid-West, etc).
All reports should be sent to webevents@nac-usa.org. When submitting reports, the Congregation Name, State and District should be included. If these reports pertain to one of the particular groups mentioned above (children, youth or seniors), that should also be noted. This will permit us to "tag" the items so they may be visible on the various pages that they are applicable to.
In conjunction with creating new homepages for each congregation, we would like to have an updated congregational or church building photo from each location as well as a short blurb or description about each congregation. The following is a partial example taken from the Buffalo, New York congregational webpage:
"In the year 1896, several priests from Germany were sent to Buffalo to establish the work of the Lord. The Koenig family opened their home and services began there. Later, services were held in a hall on Fillmore Ave. and then on Walden Ave. in Buffalo. The first official church was located at 480 Hickory Street and the work grew to approx. 150-200 members. The congregation was blessed with Sunday school, choir and an orchestra. In 1956 the Hickory Street church was sold and the congregation moved to 314 Pine Ridge Road in Cheektowaga. This new church was joyfully dedicated in October of 1956. Everyone is heartily WELCOME to join us at anytime. Questions can be addressed to Rev. Mike Wurst at (716) 754-5419 or you can e-mail cheeknac@verizon.net. Plan to join us soon!"
In order to populate each congregational page at the onset of launching the new website, we need each congregational photo and short blurb/description by Monday, November 24th. We apologize for the quick turnaround; however, the driving factor is that our District Apostle would like to open the new website in the beginning of 2009.
Our District Apostle has some new ideas of how to utilize the District Media Representative. This will be a topic of discussion at the District Leader Conference in Cleveland. Meanwhile, following is a list of the current DMR's for your district(s) as a point of reference. Please note: there should be only one DMR per district. We will be contacting you and your current DMR with further information soon. We look forward to your help in creating a new and exciting website! Kind regards,

I'd rather see effort made in a accurate catechism.
Until then, whats the point, reaching out and telling people "we believe in... oh, whats that, we'll have to wait til 2010 to tell you".
Fall 2008 has passed, this was a deadline that was announced I think over two years ago.
What could be more important to a church than defining what it represesents and what believes it stands for?
My take, they're (NAKI) really trying, but the theology defies any common sense and often lacks even remote biblical substance, so its impossible to make a defining catechism.
At times the Chap says he doesn't know, so how could anyone else?
Members don't need a website, members need soul care.
