Is this facebook discussion site -- the New Apostolic Church Discussion, http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic ... 2229668806 -- an official site of the New Apostolic Church? It presently states that there are 4,048 members of this facebook forum. I note that the New Apostolic Church's logo appears on the home page, a logo that is a legal trademark owned by NAKI. As it is being utilized by the administrators of this site, am I correct in assuming that this site is sanctioned by NAKI? Do they have the church's permission to utilize the trademark? Or is administration indifferent to the random use of the church's trademark?
Who are the administrators of this site? Who are the official moderators of the discussion board? That information is not listed on the homepage.

Dear Peter,

I wrote you last week about the New Apostolic Church Discussion facebook sites using the church's official logo, asking if they had NAKI's permission to do so. (I never received a reply.) On one of the sites referred to (New Apostolic Church Discussion http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic ... 2229668806 there is a participant that claims to be a "Deacon" who has relocated from Eshowe, South Africa to the United Kingdom. On the discussion site he has stated that he received the endorsement of District Apostle Barnes and Apostle Dimba in his deluded claims that he is THE prophet and angel as prophesied in the Bible.

He has made the following statement as well in post #23 on that same thread: "i have in the past uttered words like "i hope he dies of a heart attack" or "i hope they get armed robbed" and "i hope this place burns down" all of which has come to pass."

Has Barnes and Dimba truly endorsed this Deacon? Is he indeed a "deacon"? He is developing a "following" of other New Apostolic posters on this site that are encouraging him with their support and appear to be buying into his wild claims, due to his giving the impression that he has received Barne's and Dimba's endorsements. This is a very poor reflection on our church.

After the opening prayer, greeting and opening musical selection, please read the following from the District Apostle Kolb regarding the earthquake in Haiti. At the conclusion of the District Apostle's address, please lead the congregation in a short prayer on behalf of those affected by this tragedy as well as those that anxiously await news of loved ones or mourn those who are lost. After the conclusion of the prayer, please continue the service in the normal manner.

My very dear brothers and sisters,

A terrible catastrophe has occurred with the earthquake in Haiti. Amidst the widespread destruction of homes and buildings is also considerable loss of life. We count over 2,000 members among the population of this country so near our shore.

Let us join together in prayer for all those who have perished, for those who mourn them, and for the many wandering souls without a home. Truly, our Heavenly Father can help as the Psalmist called out in chapter 80:19:

Erfolgt da nicht inzwischen auch zwischen dem World Relief Fund (USA) und DE eine Koordination mit nak.karitativ oder sogar durch nak.karitativ?

Und wie hat die NAK damals nach dem Tsunami geschrieben?

Noch ist die Nachrichtenlage sehr ungewiss. Immer wieder werden neue Schadensmeldungen veroeffentlicht. Momentan ist nicht klar, ob und wenn ja wie viele Mitglieder der Neuapostolischen Kirche in den btroffenen Gebieten zu Schaden gekommen sind. Einen Spendenaufruf fuer die weltweiten gemeinden der Neuapostolischen Kirche gibt es daher zum gegenwaertigen Zeitpunkt nicht.
